“The Rock” Bay of Islands Overnight cruise was created to give visitors to the area time to experience the regions splendor in a relaxed and fun environment. Previously the only cruise on offer in the Bay of Islands was a four or six hour cruise, and meant many people left having experienced only a small taste of what the Bay has to offer. The Bay of Islands and the wildlife that call it home are most active during the evening and early mornings. And to add to this the sunset and sunrise on the sea are stunning. Waking up on the water can’t be beaten and The Rock’s overnight cruise allows visitors to do just that

The Story:

In October 2008, we headed off to New Zealand to shoot the promotional material for Bay of Islands Rock Cruises Ltd. A fantastic vessel and crew that caters to all types of traveller, from the young to the old.

A first for WaterWorks, this job included using a helicopter to provide a platform for some of the video’s aerial footage of The Rock and The Bay of Islands’ stunning scenery.
