We were invited to join the Ocean Rover for the first time in early 2005. Cruising north from Phuket, we captured underwater video footage from The Similan Islands and Richelieu Rock before heading into Burma’s seas and the world renowned Burma Banks. The Burma Banks was “re-discovered” by Jeroen Deknatel (the owner of Fantasea Divers) during the 1990’s and had remained a remote and distant destination for all but the most sturdy of oceanic roving vessels.

The original video is still on YouTube and displays that, even at the start of our career, we were aiming to push the boundaries of quality and professionalism. Approaching 10,0o0 individual views, this video has obtained a five star rating and some of the most positive comments on YouTube regarding an u/w video. It may be old but we’re still very proud of it.
