Minahasa Lagoon Dive and Tours Club opened their doors in early 2005 to critical acclaim – as the first boutique resort in Sulawesi catering to a whole new class of traveller. When we were asked to create their promotional video for them we felt honoured

In 2006, a freak storm caused a bit of damage to the resort and new plans were drawn up to ensure that should another storm of its type pass through again, the new structures would be able to stand up to the test. As WaterWorks had moved into the HiDef world by then, we were asked back to reshoot their promo.

The location affords a fantastic mix of the new-fangled “world of muck diving” (which isn’t as dirty as – and is actually far more interesting than – it sounds!) and some of the world’s most stunning deep drop-off wall diving.

The final cut shows a detailed mix of the in-house amenities, the local tour options lots of bizarre muck-based critters and ,of course, a sprinkling of some stunning reef diving off Bunaken National Park.
